How we started

Built from frustration with the status quo.

Before Morpaige existed, our founder spent years cleaning homes professionally — first as part of a larger crew, then independently. The same complaint kept surfacing from clients: they'd come home after a clean and something always wasn't right. A stovetop still greasy. Baseboards untouched. A bathroom that smelled like cleaner but hadn't actually been scrubbed.

The issue wasn't the cleaners — it was the model. Rush crews, back-to-back schedules, no real accountability for what got done. The industry had optimized for showing up, not for results.

Morpaige was built as the answer to that. A different process, a higher standard, and one simple rule: we don't leave until the job actually looks done.

How we work

The Morpaige Standard.

We work by room, not by time.
A room is done when it's done — not when the clock says move on. We don't have a company-wide target of X minutes per bathroom. We have a standard for what a clean bathroom looks like, and we don't leave until it's there.
Every surface. Not just the visible ones.
Baseboards. The tops of door frames. Behind the toilet. The inside of the microwave. The grout lines. These are the things that separate a clean that looks clean from one that actually is — and they're the first things we check before we leave.
We walk through before we call it done.
Before we leave, a cleaner goes room to room. If something's off, it gets fixed. The goal isn't to finish — it's for you to walk in and notice the difference without being told to look for it.
You pay after the job is done right.
We authorize your card at booking and capture it on completion. If something isn't right, we fix it before we charge. That's not a policy we came up with for the website — it's how we've always operated.
Last-minute is built in, not bolted on.
Our scheduling model is near-24/7 because real life doesn't give you a week's notice. Guests tonight. A move-out tomorrow. A last-minute Airbnb turnover. We built the company to handle these — they're not edge cases, they're the norm.

Every Morpaige cleaner is vetted personally, trained to our standard, and held to it on every job. We don't hire for speed — we hire for care and attention to detail. A fast cleaner who skips things is worse than no cleaner at all.

New cleaners shadow experienced ones before working solo. Every job gets reviewed. Feedback from clients — good or bad — goes directly to the person who did the work. There's no middle layer absorbing it. Accountability is direct.

Our cleaners are also paid well. We think the quality of the job and the quality of the employment are connected. A cleaner who feels respected brings more care to your home — and that's not a theory, it's something we've seen every week.

Every service listing tells you exactly what's done — no vague descriptions, no surprises when the cleaner shows up. What we quote is what you pay. If we think your job needs something extra, we'll tell you before we do it, not after.

We don't ghost on last-minute jobs. We don't cancel day-of unless something serious happens — and if it does, we tell you immediately and we find a solution. Your time matters. We don't treat it like it doesn't.

We treat your home the way we'd want someone to treat ours. Careful with fragile things. Attentive to what you've asked for. Never cutting corners because you're not watching. That standard doesn't change based on the size of the job.
