Morpaige Cleaners ("Morpaige," "we," "us," or "our") provides residential and commercial cleaning services in California. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and services, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the rights you have — including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"). By using our website or booking a service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information, as defined by the CCPA:

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, or health data), and we do not collect personal information from children under 16.
2. How we use your information
- To schedule, perform, confirm, and follow up on your cleaning service.
- To process payments and apply our cancellation and refund policy.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- To send service-related messages (booking confirmations, reminders, changes).
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only to:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, including Stripe (payment processing), Cloudflare (website hosting, security, and email/notification delivery), and our internal communication tools.
- Legal and safety recipients, where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Morpaige, our customers, or others.
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
4. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know / Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
- Delete — request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out is necessary; you may still contact us to confirm.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny services, charge a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your rights.
How to exercise your rights
Submit a request by emailing info@morpaige.com or calling (810) 259-1236. To protect your information, we will verify your identity by matching details you provide against our records before fulfilling a request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with written permission. We respond to verifiable requests within 45 days (extendable by another 45 days with notice).
5. Cookies & analytics
Our website uses only the cookies and storage necessary to operate (for example, to keep the booking and admin pages working) and privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. Data retention
We keep booking and customer records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then we delete or anonymize them. Payment records are retained by Stripe under its own retention practices.
7. Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. Card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date; material changes take effect when posted.
