Terms of service

Effective date: June 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Morpaige Cleaners ("Morpaige," "we," "us") and govern your use of our website and the cleaning services you book through it. By using the site or booking a service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy, which are incorporated here.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to book a service. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to request cleaning at the address you provide.

2. Services

We provide residential and commercial cleaning services in California, as described on our Services page. Services, availability, and pricing may change at any time. Cleaning results depend on the condition of the property; some surfaces, stains, or pre-existing damage may not be fully restorable, and we will tell you when that is the case.

3. Booking, pricing & payment

Prices are calculated from the selections you make; the total shown at checkout is the amount we authorize. Payments are processed by Stripe. When you book, Stripe places an authorization hold on your payment method for the job amount; we capture (charge) it after the service is completed, as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. You authorize us to charge the applicable amount, including any cancellation fee that policy permits. You are responsible for any taxes that apply.

4. Scheduling & confirmation

Arrival windows are estimates, not guaranteed exact times. A booking is a request until we confirm availability; we will contact you promptly if a requested time is unavailable. For same-day or last-minute requests, calling us is the fastest way to confirm.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide safe, timely access to the property during the scheduled window.
  • Secure pets and disclose hazards, alarms, and fragile or high-value items.
  • Ensure utilities (water, electricity) needed for the work are available.
  • Remove or safeguard cash, jewelry, and irreplaceable valuables before service.

If we cannot access or safely service the property at the scheduled time, the no-show terms of our Cancellation Policy apply.

6. Satisfaction & refunds

We aim for a thorough, visible result on every job. If something isn't right, contact us within 48 hours and we will return to re-clean the affected area or, at our discretion, issue a partial or full refund as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7. Cancellations

Cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. In short: free cancellation 12 or more hours before your window; a cancellation fee applies inside 12 hours or for a no-show.

8. Photos & portfolio

We may take before/after photos for quality assurance. We will only publish photos of your property (for example, in our portfolio or on social media) with your permission. Tell us if you prefer we not photograph your property.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Our website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under California law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Morpaige harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or inaccurate information you provide.

11. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to misuse the site — for example, by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, scrape it, or submit fraudulent bookings. The site, its content, logos, and design are owned by Morpaige and may not be copied or used without permission.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and Morpaige agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally — please contact us before filing a claim.

13. Changes, severability & entire agreement

We may update these Terms; the version posted when you book applies to that booking. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy and Cancellation policies, are the entire agreement between you and Morpaige regarding the services.
